Use the request form or live chat to share the current baccalaureate pathway, course, state, requirement, and placement instructions. We will first check whether the program coordinates the experience or explicitly permits a student-proposed person or site.

Use the request form or start a live chat, whichever is easier for you. The request form is best when you already know your school and your deadline, because it lets us look at your situation and reply with something specific. Live chat is best for a quick question, such as whether your program places you or whether we serve your path at all.
There is no cost to request and nothing is billed until a match is confirmed and your school approves it. You can read the full model on how it works and cost before you reach out.
Lead with four things so we can answer honestly and quickly. The more precise your details, the faster we can tell you whether you even need a placement service.
If you are not sure how many hours your program requires, that is fine. There is no single national number for the BSN, so tell us your school and we will point you to your catalog rather than guess. You can also review BSN clinical hours and BSN by school first.
Traditional and accelerated prelicensure clinical placements are generally program-coordinated. Students on that path should use the program's placement process. We will not suggest outside sourcing unless current written instructions explicitly permit a student proposal.
Some post-licensure or other baccalaureate courses may permit or require a student to propose a community field-experience person or site. If that is the current rule, we can review the requirements and explain the independent sourcing process. See RN-to-BSN field experience for conditional examples.
There is no universal BSN clinical or field-experience total. Include the exact requirement from the active catalog, degree audit, course instructions, or placement office rather than relying on a comparison table.
We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting for any university. That independence is why we can give you a straight answer about whether you need us. It also means there are questions we cannot answer for you.
For those questions, contact your program directly. For everything about self-sourcing a preceptor, we are glad to help, and the BSN preceptor FAQ and reviews may answer more before you write.
Use the request form or live chat and include the current pathway, course, state, requirement, student-proposal permission, and deadline. We will review whether the request fits the independent sourcing scope. Response timing and candidate availability vary, and no match, placement, or approval is guaranteed.
Yes. There is no cost to request and no cost to talk through your situation. Nothing is billed until a match is confirmed and your school approves it, and even then placement is never guaranteed. If your program already places you, we will tell you at no charge that you do not need us. You can see the full model on our cost page.
Outside sourcing applies only when the current program explicitly permits or requires a student-proposed preceptor, mentor, or site. An advisor reviews the course instructions before candidate sourcing begins.
We do not guarantee placement. Final approval rests with your program.
